Why Study Japanese?

"Nihongo is an interesting, challenging, and in demand language to foreign people who are willing to learn for work, for livelihood, and citizenship purposes. The first thing comes on my mind why im taking this course is for career opportunity. Practically it helps me to reach my dreams to work with my profession. To learn this language I have to be patient and willing to endure difficultiesin studying nihongo. But before learning this language I should learn first how people in japan live in accordance with their culture, tradition, etiquette, and government rules and regulations. In this way i will easily adopt what japan has especially in their culture and the way they live.. then language will be the next key as a core for this learnings. The essence of studying their language is for communication espacially to my profession. As a caregiver im entitled to help my patient to recover and to be come independent on their own.having knowledge of their language, I can easily respond and understand the needs of the patient,to give them comfort and assistance without language barrier. Maybe I'd like to be seen five years from now as someone with a deep expertise in giving good service towards my patient as acaregiver and to utilize my learning through teaching nihongo to students who desire to work in japan and possibly live in japan with my family. I'll have the opportunity to make this through studying nihongo."

A Message From Our Principal
Thank you for taking this wonderful opportunity to visit our website.
Growing up, I was fortunate enough to experience studying in Japan and the Philippines every year. Every summer vacation from my school in the Philippines, I flew to Japan to study Nihongo for 2 months. I did this for 10 years and every year I dreaded it at the time because I felt robbed of my summer vacation. But now I am thankful because I am able to impart my knowledge of Japan and guide our students in learning Japanese on their own here in Y. Suzuki Nihongo Learning Center, or YSNLC.

Learning Japanese is no easy task. It can be very difficult especially when you do not have the right guidance. Most of our students study Japanese with the goal of using it in Japan for work, thus it is important that our students learn it the properly. Fortunately, YSNLC is more than willing to support its students in their journey of learning Japanese. We understand the many frustrations involved learning Japanese.

We work hard to provide quality Japanese education to our students. YSNLC offer a variety of courses to students aspiring to use Japanese to apply for work in Japan or locally in the Philippines. We aim to equip our students with the language and cultural knowledge of Japan to help them thrive in their daily working environment.

As a principal, I am very proud of our our students. They have exemplified what it means to be model students and are highly motivated to learn Japanese. Seeing our students speaking Japanese on their own gives me a sense of fulfilment in knowing that we are preparing our students for their futures. It is for this reason that we are committed to ensuring that our students receive the best Japanese education we can provide.

If you are looking for a school to help guide you in learning Nihongo so you are better prepared to apply for work in Japan, I encourage you to visit our school and see our students in class for yourself. YSNLC is more than happy to assist you as you consider enrolling to our school.

I look forward to hearing from you!
